The young researchers (within 3 years of getting the PhD) will have the possibility of being selected for two awards for the best oral presentation (150 euros each) and one award for the best paper presented (150 euros), plus the possibility of publishing their research for free on the journal Forests Monitor.
The Forests Monitor (FM) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal devoted to the applied science of multifunctional forest ecosystems, with a primary objective of enhancing forest management and conservation in support of good governance worldwide.
FM welcomes contributions from numerous disciplines in forestry and related fields, which have implications for forest ecology, management, technology, and forest resource and nature conservation economics and policy. FM has three broad focal areas: forest ecology and conservation, forest management and planning, and forest policy and economics.
