The objective of WP4 is to develop a platform (ESSLP) for bringing together scientists, policy makers, practitioners and the wider community. The platform will encompass the DecisionES stakeholder panel to be defined in the project kick off meeting. This will be influential to link the research to the needs of the forest sector and to tailor the development of WP2 and WP3 to forest ecosystem management planning and policy analysis problems in participating countries. This will be influential further for the effectiveness of the dissemination and communication of project results, of transfer of knowledge and of capacity building by training. The ESSLP encompasses thus both people (researchers and stakeholders) and engagement, dissemination and communication tools to be developed by DecisionES.
