Research Seminar: The state-of-the-art of forest management models, methods and decision support systems – the DecisionES perspective.

Purpose:

This international seminar focused on the presentation of models, methods and decision support systems available at DecisionES institutions that may be used by public administrators, forest owners and industry for forest management planning in a context of global change. This seminar is part of annual seminars that are be organized under the DecisionES international R&D project (https://decisiones.ctfc.cat/) and has been organized by Centre Tecnològic Forestal de Catalunya (CTFC, Spain), CATIE (Costa Rica), Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA, Portugal). It wass further sponsored by IUFRO Units 4.04.04 ‘Sustainable Forest Management Scheduling’ and 4.04.06 ‘Nature Conservation Planning’.
