Cell2Fire: A family of growth fire simulators.

Cell2Fire is a spatially explicit wildfire simulation framework that models fire ignition, spread and landscape-level fire behaviour under different weather, fuel and management conditions. It supports wildfire risk assessment and the evaluation of fuel management strategies, including wildfire prevention planning, firebreak network design and identification of strategic areas for risk reduction. Cell2Fire comprises a family of fire growth simulators that share a common simulation framework but incorporate different fire spread models adapted to regional conditions: Cell2Fire Prometheus (Canada), Cell2Fire Scott and Burgan (Spain–USA), and Cell2Fire Kitral (Chile).

PrioriActions: Multi-action management planning tool for spatial conservation.

PrioriActions is an R package for spatial conservation planning via Mixed Integer Programming. It generates
optimal (or near-optimal) prioritization and action-deployment solutions under diverse spatial and functional constraints, and works with both commercial (Gurobi, CPLEX) and open-source (CBC, Symphony) solvers.

Problems that can be addressed:

- Identifying priority areas for conservation or restoration
- Designing conservation plans
- Designing restoration plans

SIMPLE: SIstema Multicriterio para PLanificación Espacial - Multi-criteria System for Spatial Planning

The SIMPLE system is a decision-support system for environmental analysis and strategic and tactical planning. It's built as a web-bases system and combines various analytical tools, geodatabases and a GIS environment which may facilitate stakeholder participation.

Because SIMPLE is a generic solution framework, it can be applied to an extremely broad array of problems at virtually any and all spatial scales:
• Prioritising Forest Management Zones to Prevent Large Forest Fires.
• Prioritising Actions to prevent large Forest Fires.
• Defining suitatility areas for the provision of certain Ecosystem Service.
• Prioritising areas and/or actions for conservation or restoration purposes.
